I am not the most experienced, so take it for what it's worth, but it was very pleasurable. It was my first shave, and the blade was honed well, giving me a CCS on one pass, and BBS on two. Very smooth shaver IMO.
Still waiting for the wraps...you could call them 7 day rolls, as well. I didn't realize I'd mentioned getting them, so I was surprised when you mentioned rolls. I have 36 or so of The Superior Shave's silicon-treated cotton sleeves and needed something for 50 or so more. I was getting some tarnish, as my razors sat in coffee mugs. Maybe I'll get them in person when we have our straight razor meetup February 27th at Carolina Brewery, Pittsboro, North Carolina. Baxter got into straights last year and has a textile company. He has them make the wraps. They have a lining that makes the razors rust resistent.
It's a beautiful razor and shaves great.... the only downside is I keep thinking about buying a Goyumko 20k stone.
