Shaving related products/activities you want to try in 2016

I want to pick up a Fatip Testina Gentile (closed comb). I probably have enough soap/cream and blades for me to not buy more of those for a while.

 

Interesting... I realized that so far this month I've already gone through 1 (a Shick J1 which really impresses), 2 (jury still out- not sure I like the citrus smell though I don't have as much of the lather issues that others complain of), and 3 (finally broke out the sample I had; like the soap though I think my sample lost a lot of its aroma before I got around to using it).

That just leaves the FatBoy from the original list. Now, I got to go think up another list...

I would like to learn to restore straights, and brushes. I would also like to start replating vintage razors. I have been doing research on the subjects. Problem is I can learn to do everything and read the step by step instructions. But when I actually put my hands on something, well that's when the problems begin... Lol.

 

On December 31, 2016, I will begin my search for a 2011 Mühle R41.

 

Some 2016 wants/goals:

1. Make some after shave, like the bay rum of @HolyRollah or some other type.
2. Try straight razors with stropping.
3. Find my top two daily DE blades.
4. Participate in pass-arounds.
5. Obtain a Super Speed (down the road).
6. Organize all my shaving goods.
