  1. Thanks for the advice. I do even worse with injectors. I also have a couple Super Speeds I use occasionally.

  3. The Shambala is the only F&C aftershave I've used, but I'm planning to buy another one soon. Perhaps Black Powder or Capri. You're right - the longevity is great! :)
  4. As always, whenever I use a Stirling soap I get wonderful results. The Black Ice lathered so easily, richly, and thick with an awesome menthol punch as well as a post-shave sensation which made my skin feel like it was born again. The Shambala aftershave not only smells delightful - it's very cooling and it lasts all day. This shave was as smooth as silk and so enjoyable! :happy088: :happy088:

Woke up feeling a little congested, so chose the C.O. Bigelow cream to help open up the nasal passages.

Prep: warm wash with Kirk's CocoCastile
    Lather: C.O. Bigelow
    Brush: Elite Razor E7
    Razor: Blackland Blackbird
    Blade: Persona Lab Blue (4)
Post: Old Spice A/S plus a little Seaforth Spiced

The black oxide finish on the Blackbird is starting to fade a little on the handle of this razor and it is starting to develop a little character. I like the looks so far! Plus the consistent easy and smooth shaves are a real pleasure.

  20. Interesting assessment of the early triangular base Canadian Tech. I find the shave and aggressiveness will vary with the blade used and experience incurred using the Tech. Funny thing is that my best shave with the Tech was with Proraso sensitive green tea / oatmeal (new formula) and my worse was with BSMR shave cream same as what you used.
