Slim Adjustable set to 9 Rapira Platinum Lux Blade L'Occitane Cade Face Lathered 3 passes Using L'Occitane Cade this morning, I came to the conclusion that it may be slicker than MDC, but definitely lacks cushioning ability.

Maybe the Tech appeared a little more aggressive to me BECAUSE of the cream ... I guess I'l use the Tech again tomorrow, but with a different soap and maybe a Feather blade (I like the Feather blades in both of my other Techs).
Schick I2 razor Personna blade FS Silver Tip brush CO Bigelow SC Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe M&L Florida Water Cologne w/added menthol Haven't used a badger brush for awhile and this one is a good one. But I think I'm starting to prefer synthetics. At any rate, a fine shave was had and I"m ready to go. Now go enjoy your day folks.
SOTD February 4, 2016 Prep: Hot Shower. Noxzema Razor: Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip 1959 E1 Blade: Personna Lab Blue Lather: Pré de Provence No 63 Brush: Semogue 610 Post: Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate Aftershave: Fine L'Orange Noir Having as many soaps as I do I often neglect some of them and PdP No 63 is one, darn I love this soap! Wonderful lather I get from it. The Semogue 610 holds more lather than the Semogue 830 in my non-scientific experiment. Once again the SS shines like the classic razor it is. Never let the things you WANT Make you forget the things you HAVE!
THURSDAY My first shave this morning using this uniquely-styled, vintage (late 19th-early20th century) Sheffield frameback from Geo. Wostenholm & Sons. L'Occitane 'Cade' soap, TGN Synthetic with olive wood handle, and Route 66 'Sweeney Todd' aftershave balm finish. Nimble razor and near-BBS results! Have a great Thursday, all!

2-4-16 SOTD Razor: sr108 w/ GSB (3?) Lather: Anne Bonny Post: Alum and razorock lime aftershave tonic JR13 brush Today I had so much lather I didn't know what to do with it all. It was super slick and had gorgeous peaks. This bay rum is just phenomenal, love the black tea and lime that is in it. Compared to some of my other soaps, it's smell is much stronger when lathered, it's great smelling it while you are shaving. First pass was WTG then two XTG passes in opposite direction, all passes on neck were WTG, then a little clean up. Ended with my first BBS shave since I started wet shaving. The lime aftershave paired very well with the bay rum. Have a great day everyone filled with great shaves
