The "free replacement" is to compensate people for the very spotty quality of the first version that had a lot of issues. It will be really interesting to compare the two versions....

Muhle R41 Replacement Head-I have heard some horror stories but worse case scenario I am out $25 and I can always PIF/ WTS/WTT it away if it is not for me. Maggards Alum Block-Never tried an alum block so I figured I'd snag one.
Won this on the bay. It was sold as a "1950's boxed razor..." so I'm not sure it received the attention it could have gotten. I can't see anything wrong in the pics, and I don't really care that much about the box, so I'm hoping I made an okay deal. (Sellers pic)

Well I had to order this. My youngest son is here with my two grand babies are I made him a sweet deal. I sold him my lightly used Georgetown G20 (Opal) scuttle for $20.
What a nice deal. I like the shape and price of those scuttles, but can't get past the color. I can't do white when lather is already white...hopefully he comes out with another color option soon.
