Friday Had a 3-day growth, so I dialled the Fatboy to 5. Amazing mowing on the first WTG pass. Love the little fat'n'heavy razor. Too bad I have an internal fear of breaking it, so it doesn't get used much. Some of this gear is part of my 30-day-focus this month. Love the Omega already, although I still think it's a wee bit big. I don't think I'll ever love the MEM. It's perfectly useable, but something about the scent is not appealing to me. It's not bad, it just doesn't tick my boxes. Good glide and cushion though. Great DFS++ shave.

SOTD 02/05/16 Razor-'62 Gillette Slim Adjustable(on loan from @youngunn Thank You) Blade-Shark Super Chrome Brush-E-Shave Badger Lather-VDH Deluxe Post Shave-Cold Water Rinse Witch Hazel,Gillette A/S Lotion Barbasol Pacific Rush A/S I received this razor yesterday as a pass-around from@youngunn. I set it at 7 like I do with my Fat Boy ex pecting it to feel the same boy was I wrong! this razor has a completely different feel,much lighter,more nimble,don't get me wrong I still love my Fat Boy,but I think I"m gonna have to get one of these! The Shark blade was very smooth on all three passes,it seems to go well with this razor.I will repeat this mornings shave tomorrow . So when all is said and done this A.M. I ended up with a very smooth BBS shave!! HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!!
Van Yulay Friday I think I've dialed in Poseidon the lather this time was richer and creamier because I reduced the amount of water I used when loading. I did get one weeper, but it closed with a cold water rinse. The PSO works better if I give it a couple minutes to do its thing. Three smooth passes with der Futur set on 5.5 and I was ready for a visit to Shuyak Island. I enjoyed the chill so much that I made a second trip to wrap up this shave. SOTD Feb 5, 2016 Noxema preshave cream Gillette Heavy Tech / Gillette 7 o'clock Super Stainless Omega / TOBS Natural WH / shea butter / Proraso white ASB Nice shave this morning. This is part of my ongoing experiment with the 7 o'clock blade and so far so good. Not the smoothest blade, but it is definitely sharp. This was a 2 pass darn fine shave this morning. No complaints. And it Friday!
today hot water wash with nivea men's face wash and a washcloth brothers bristles/ ace black badger Art of Shaving Sandalwood Eaton 85 Diamond Edge 5/8 full hollow spike Crusella& co Sandalo today's shave was very good. I've forgotten how nice aos sandalwood is. three passes with the Diamond Edge. much easier, more relaxed shave today. maybe a scosh not as smooth as yesterday, but much comfy'er. finished with Sandalo. hope y'all did as well, or better.
