  1. image.jpeg Razor: Merker Futur Polished Chrome 2015 (1.5)
Brush: Whipped Dog 30/45 Silvertip 2014
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle
    Blade: Feather (1)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black balm, Old Spice Lime original Shulton AS Frosted Glass 1960s

Swirled up some Route 66 Bourbon Jungle onto my biggest and softest Silvertip from Whipped Dog into my OS Mug. The Silvertip whipped up some nice warm lather. My Futur is a great looking razor, and on 1.5 it works great for me. I'm really stuck on this razor, and happy with the way it gives an effortless shaves. It made quick work in 2 passes WTG XTG. A little touchup on my neck ATG and done. The WH felt good, nice and fresh. After cleanup some JB and when it dried, some Old Spice Lime original Shulton AS from the 1960s. Y'all have a good one!

PREP: OCCAMS CRUSHED LIME PRE SHAVE SOAP
    RAZOR: 1953 GILLETTE TECH
    BLADE: GILLETTE THIN (2ND SHAVE)
    BRUSH: RAZOROCK PLISSOFT
    SOAP: WHOLLY KAW FOUGERE BOUQUET
    AFTERSHAVE: WK FOUGERE BOUQUET
    BALM: MYRSOL EMULSION

2 Pass shave this morning. I have noticed that recently blades will shave differently once they have been broken in a bit, the first time I used this blade it was tugging and was not as good as other Gillette blades I had tried, but the shave today was much smoother and I have no complaints. This is why it is good to give a blade a few tries before giving up. The WK makes such a nice lather, it is hard to believe this is a vegan soap, if blindfolded I think people would think it is a tallow soap by the consistency and slickness. Very good stuff, plus the scent is unique for a fougere, a bit like a sweet sandalwood. I paired it with the matching A/S so I can enjoy the scent much longer. I will sometimes use this as a cologne since the scent seems to last a while on my skin. Will throw some Emulsion on in a few since it is cold outside, and could use all the moisturizing I can get. Hope everyone has a great shave and a wonderful Friday!

After loading the MWF today, the remaining puck broke up into multiple "pieces" of soap. They no longer adhere to the bottom of the bowl so I am anticipating needing to take one of these pieces and simply rubbing it into my beard tomorrow. I did bring with me my Proraso Sapone, which came in second place in your voting. Can you say "Titanic"? :)
    Have a great day!
  6. Razor: Gillette Red Tip C2, 1957
    Blade: Gillette Platinum (1)
    Brush: Fendrihen Silver Tip
    Soap: Route 66 Bourbon Jungle

I've been away on a vacation to Quebec City for a week. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves. Picture tomorrow.
I'm going to focus on the Gillette Red Tip this month. I'll also stay with this blade and brush. Had a great shave today.

    Fendrihan Faux Horn badger brush,

OK, now I get why vintage Williams sells for $35 or more. One of the best soaps I've ever used. Glide like no other! If someone is into soap making this would be a lofty target. I scraped off the exposed end of my flea market find to see the NOS product, then dropped a few shavings into my mug. Using my only badger brush it whipped up a quick fine lather. A little more water made more lather. This stuff just keeps going!
Next time I use it I'll add a drop of Lime EO to encourage the scent that has faded. Otherwise this is defiantly in my soap rotation.
Don't let your fear of Cooties keep you from experiencing vintage Williams. Anyone else tried this stuff?
