  1. No pictures for tomorrow's shave but I promise it'll be a hell of a face-freezer! :) :Animatedfrozensmily:

    Old Spice Cologne

Only a hard-core menthol maniac like myself can handle a frigid selection like this, and trust me when I say that it's not for the faint of heart. That Glacial Spearmint soap packs a wicked menthol punch which feels colder and colder while it's on your face. The lather works up very, very easily and the scent fills the bathroom. The Lucky Tiger aftershave cream is also quite cold as well as very moisturizing and soothing with sort of a Noxzema-type scent - it's a wonderful balm. I've never put anything colder than the Arctique aftershave splash on my face because I honestly doubt that anything colder exists that would be safe for use. ;) :D

  2. Yes, it's coming along nicely. I'm rotating the 610 & 830 exclusively this month.
  3. BRUSH: Semogue 1438
    SOAP: LaToja Shave Stick
RAZOR: Gillette Slim (set at 7)
    BLADE: Feather
    Aftershave: Aqua Velva Musk

A great three pass shave with several of my personal favorites.
    • LaToja stick; if you haven't tried it, you're really missing out on an excellent slick lather, with a beautiful light, clean scent that nobody could object to.
    • The slim coupled with a sharp feather blade. BBS, without trying.
    • Aqua Velva is another classic scent with holding power. "Old man" scent? not in my opinion:)

  4. I think that I would use more mentholated soaps/AS they didn't make my eyes water so...:scared003:

  6. Had a most impressive shave using a razor by Evahs.
Already from the first WTG stroke it had nice audible feedback and shaved extremely efficient without every feeling aggressive. Nice long handle as well.
One pass and I had a very socially acceptable shave. I liked it a lot.

Full disclosure: I got this razor for $2 after they reached out to me on Instagram but never asked for a "public review" - just for me to tell THEM what I thought.
They just started selling it on Amazon and if there is any interest I can see if I can get some discount codes for people.

  8. Apparently, if you sign up at their site (http://www.evahs.com), they'll send you a link to the product page and a code for 20% off the price of $29.95.

Sorry for the late post. Had a rough night.
Prep: Hot shower/ Dove Men's Face Scrub
    Pre-Shave: PAA Ice
    Soap: RazoRock XXX
Brush: Vie Long Horse/ Badger Mixed
    Razor/ Blade: Merkur 37c Slant/ Personna Lab Blue (1)
    Astringent: Witch Hazel
    Post-Shave: Nivea Sensitive Balm
    Aftershave: Fine L'orange Noir
Great shave last night. Cut my lip again because I was careless. I always get really solid performance from RazoRock. Not the best soap on the market, but good lather, good slickness, and decent post-shave. I love the XXX scent. The Vie Long is breaking in nicely, but is still scratchy due to the horse hair. It makes an incredible lather everytime. 37c Smashes through everything. And gatta finish it off with L'orange noir. Hope you are all having a good day!

  14. It's pretty weighty, in a good way. I think the ergonomics are outstanding. I've come to enjoy brushes with the weight distributed toward the handle. The Alluminati is a terrific brush all around.

  18. So I went to their website and got the discount code, went to Amazon and ordered the razor. Got the 20% discount ($5.99) so now it's $23.96. Then I found I had points so the total was $0.00. Cool beans.....Sunday delivery on top of everything else! What a treat, looks like a decent razor. :bounce015:

  19. Yes. The idea is to eliminate variables and isolate the problem. We'd love to help you work it out if we can!
  20. Welcome back Doug!
