What is a good safety razor for shaving "downstairs"?
I was thinking of an open comb since the hair is more coarse there? A Merkur 25C?

Polarizing topic ya got here @Alex7 . Being of the InBetweener Generation, after Baby Boomers but before GenX, I can pick and choose what I consider Manly.
I live in the South. As in South of Interstate 10. We have humidity & heat so keeping the bushes trimmed aids in comfort especially during the months between March & November.
My tool of choice is a Whal trimmer. The kind available at all Walmart and like stores. Yes it's an electric and requires careful use. It also avoids too short of a shave that might lead to ingrown hairs. Manscape at your own risk.
There are some cyclist, swimmers, and body builders that may show up and share their procedures. Hope my advice helps.

Not that hard have any first hand experience. But I'm pretty confident in recommending any razor with the exception of a straight;)

I'd go for something very very mild and very very efficient. Maybe a razorock baby smooth.

Hmm. Chicken skin handbag shaving rears it's ugly head once more.
    You have three options.
    1.) Wax.
    2.) Chemical. Nair or equivalent.
3.) Duct Tape. Stick it on, rip it off. Shed a tear.

Trimming is an alternative to shaving. Just saying.

I see you've posted the same question on multiple forums. You must be in desperate need of a trim or just looking for entertainment

I pretty sure that Nair and the like (all of which are alkaloids), down there, would result in a chemical burn and much pain.

But, kudos on the handbag euphemism.

    With that... /wanders out
