I really like B&M soaps and this scent is perfect for winter. I also like the Semouge OC Badger brush. May actually be my favorite brush in my collection. Also love Captain's Choice North. This is one of my favorite setups for a snowy winter day! Have a good weekend, Gents!
Black freshly ground coffee and a relaxing Saturday morning shave. Simpsons CH2, C&E Indian Sandalwood & ATT Slant.
2/6/16 - Channeling my inner @crackstar this morning for the Special Olympics Polar Plunge. Anticipating...that smooth water is actually ice! Pikes Peak is off in the distance. I'll shave when I get feeling back in the various parts of my body. Great crowd for a great cause! Our high school's National Honor Society chapter talked about 8 teachers and 10 students into raising $ and jumping in the lake.
Went with the C3 repeater this morning and enjoyed a nice 3 pass BBS shave. Simply a fantastic razor! Have a great day everyone!
Hello Primotenore, that is a beautiful Milord Tech you have there. Stunning! Here is a family portrait of my Milord Tech razor sets- Front row,1940/41 replated by Nick at SportShaving.com. 1948 NOS. back row, 1940/41 restored by me, 1946 restored by me. I too, love my Milord Techs. Have a great day sir!
2-6-16 SOTD Had an "okay" shave today. Lather was slick and cushiony. But my technique was a little. Was definitely overconfident. Was planning the blade through the lather far too quickly, so ended with a few weepers on my neck and chin. But it is what it is. Enjoy your day everyone
SHAVE OF the day Prep: Musgo Real classic Razor: Gillette ball end tech Blade: Gillette Thin (3rd shave) Brush: Fine Angel Hair Synthetc Soap: B&M Fireside Post: Reef Point Dragons Blood Balm 2 pass shave today, first time with Fireside. It has a cherry note to my senses that is quite nice. Whipped up a nice lather as to be expected from B&M soaps. The shave went well with no nicks and ended up being a DFS. Hope everyone had a great shave!
How do you like the Reef Point Balm? I got a very enthusiastic thumbs up on the dragon's blood scent from my lady friend, wanna get the splash or the balm.
Reef Points balms and splashes are great, but I give the edge to the balm. Very moisturizing and only a small amount is needed. Highly recommend the Balm if you had to choose one.
Last time I did something like that, it took me several hours to get the feeling back. Hope it went better for your!
