...too big for the bowl I was using. And I've got two more coming. Still have to paint it & put some no-skid on the bottom, maybe some 1/16" cork.
Yeah I need to stay off as well. I bought 10 razors in less than 2 months. About 5 years worth of blades. And there are still so many razors I need...... want. Gonna have to wait awhile. Doesn't take long to blow through your cash
I know what you mean. I'm down to two that I would really like and then two more show their heads. There's got to be an end somewhere.
My wife delivered some tooth paste to my den the other day. Needless to say -she was not impressed. I heard something akin to "sickness" or something similar. I mumbled something about it being contagious, and to be happy that I'm not in stage 3 or 4
Nice collection and nice stand! You can NEVER have too many razors, blades, bowls, brushes, soaps/creams or AS's, but that is just my opinion!!
No plans...I just threw it together yesterday afternoon. I had a guy at work split an 18" piece of 2" x 2", them cut a 1" x 4" down to 2 1/2" wide, secured them together with five wood screws, them drilled down with a 7/16" bit about 3/8" for the handle butts to rest in. I was going to use 7/8" cup hooks to hold them up, but that didn't work. So, I Dremeled grooves for them to lay back in. The #4 spot needs to be straightened out a bit, but they're pretty well resting at the same angle. I'll paint it white one of these days. I was actually planning on getting an old pipe rack, but this takes up less space. (I did a blade inventory last night...855 blades, 31 different kinds.)
Very nice. I would like to do something like that but I don't want to flaunt my R-count to the wife. If she out lives me she find out but I'll be out of shouting distance (hopefully in a northerly direction).
Yeah, I only keep a few razors in the medicine cabinet at a time. Thankfully the wife is so disinterested in razors in general that she can't see that I rotate them. The real collection is hidden in a bedroom drawer.
