Lathered up a Burma puck the other day and I have to say that this soap is good. I think it lathers better than Williams and the lather lasts longer on the face. The scent is pleasant and the shave was nice. Too bad it's no longer available.

Just got a Burma Shave gift set in the mail yesterday. I have yet to use it, but it is a sharp set. Nice tin with a puck, a mug, a "natural" brush, and a little pamphlet with a history of Burma Shaves classic roadside advertising slogans. The brush is quite stiff. Don't think I'll use it.

Pass on a good word about the vendor:
www.nationwidecampus.com They have several Burma Shave products available, also Gillette, Schick, and Wilkinson Sword DE blades. Good prices; Shipped quick.

I bought a puck and a cup eons ago right after they discontinued Old Spice shaving soap and I wasn't sure what else to use; but I never bought another puck (I favored Williams) -- I still have (and use) the excellent cup, though! As I recall, the scent of Burma Shave was sort of bland...

  6. I have to try Burma Shave again. It's been a long time.

I had one time the Burma shave soap, and I thought it was ok, but really not so special. I prefer Erasmic soap, or Tabac any time, or De Vergulde Hand.
