It's so easy to get obsessed with these Obsessive Soap Perfectionist soaps - this Grapefruit Menthol has a lovely citrusy scent, tons of easy-to-create lather which is so rich and thick, as well as a really potent menthol kick along with very, very soothing skincare. James Riley in London, England put a lot of hard work in to his products and it paid off. The Gold Bond/Rubby Dubby Doo combination is a fantastic, frigid way to finish a Menthol Monday Shave!

Menthol Monday!

Prep: Warm shower
Blade: Personna lab blue (2)
Razor: Maggard MR1
Brush: Satin Tip 'The Purest' synthetic
Lather: Proraso Green
Post: Witch hazel splash, TSD SubZero, Nivea sensitive balm
WTG, touch-up

This shave seems colder than last Monday! Perhaps the temperature outside and in my bathroom contributed. It's much colder today than last Monday morning.

In any event, nice CCS this morning with one pass plus touch-up. The Proraso Green lathered up quite nicely, the MR1 with the Personna blue blade continues to perform well, and the post shave treatment was cold!

I had one tiny weeper right below my jaw line, but the cold rinse and witch hazel took care of it. I nice, easy shave for Monday morning!

The Proraso Green Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Olivewood Silvertip badger brush. Two passes with my new Gillette President razor and an Personna Stainless blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayers Rose Petal WH and then Pinaud Clubman After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I've read good and bad about this shave cream,so I bought it and the A/S balm for $2.00 and thought why not give it a go.
I read the directions(that's a first),and they said to apply to a wet face with your hand or a brush so i used a brush it goes on a bit like the Neutrogena shave creme does not too thick
it is however very slick.The Schick G just glided across my face for all three passes,The scent isn't at all unpleasant the A/S balm is good too it left my face nice and smooth and soft.
As with anything else YMMV! So when all is said and done I got a BBS shave no irritation,no nicks,and overall a very nice shave.

Menthol Monday
Another optimal shave with Krampert's! The soap lathers very well, yielding thick yogurty goodness right over the Van Yulay PSO. My stubble did not know what hit them as der Futur took advantage of the cold, almost going unnoticed while completing its grim duty. I finished up with Krampert's Finest Frostbite aftershave to continue the cold and winter forest scent, which goes nicely with Pi Neo.

This Menthol Monday shave was absolutely wonderful thanks to the OSP Grapefruit Menthol soap. Its lather is a pleasure to work up - in fact just ten-fifteen swirls is enough to give so much that three men can shave using the same brush. The menthol effect is certainly not Glacial or Cryogen level, (what else is?) but I'd rank it at about the MITA strength which is better than good enough for me. The Rubby Dubby Doo put a final "icing on the cake" for me!

THE RR JAWS MADE QUICK WORK OF ALL MY WHISKERS, NO TOUCHUPS REQUIRED. VERY SMOOOOTH. WHAT A GREAT START TO THIS DAY. HAVE A WONDERFUL SHAVE AND A BLESSED DAY FRIENDS.
