Recieved what has to be the worst packaging of a vintage item ever sent by mail. On the upbeat, this arrived. My first TTO OC razor. A Gillette Sheraton.
And this arrived today. Crown King Scuttle. Perfect size. So you can guess what I'll be using for tomorrow's SOTD..
Picked up an AVON pawn to go with my king, queen, and knight. Also a Barbershop brush, looks unused. And a C4 flair tip. Has some plating loss and brass showing through but overall decent. I did notice they changed the head design somewhere between this C4 and my other L3.
Got home and this was waiting for me The finish isn't as nice as the vendor told me it was nor in the pictures she sent me. But for $44 dollars shipped... This is fine by me. It's one of the cheapest Hoffritz slants I've seen with the milk finish
Moments ago i reveived 2 packages, which i eagerly waited for. Slow Watch from Swiss. Modell "Slow Jo 09". Stainless steel body, with "cream" coloured dial and an brown calfskin armwrist from Italy. Looks wonderful to me and feels even better on my wrist. Here some more pictures... The Logo is engraved on the back of the body. Got my Mason Pearson Pure Badger Brush through the door..These brushes have a Simpsons Knot but I wasn't expecting it to be a hard soap latherer but I was way off the Mark..Haslinger is a Hard Tallow Soap & the Pearson Brush ate it for breakfast..The handle is an Absolute Corker size wise..Makes me wonder why they make them any smaller than this..£20.00 Posted...Cant be bad at that.. Got these Gillette travel techs in yesterday. I love em! Will definitely be shaving with one of them this morning. One has a bit of tarnish on the handle but still looks pretty decent. Tried cleaning it but to no avail. I'll have to get some scrubbing bubbles later. I think I'll try to hunt down a case for it. Hopefully an original but I'm not picky
I haven't and this morning I used the Milionario. Fantastic Cologne type scent. The Amici smells wonderful too just not as strong which is fine. Thanks for the AS info.
