  1. it is a C4 so I guess that would make it a 1957

  2. If it is, then may I say, at least two things came into existence in 1957....a C4 razor.................................and me.
  3. Yes, 4th quarter of 1957. Predates me by 10 years ...

    Um, Three things...

  9. I actually started my endeavor with a list of razors that I wanted.
this lot was priced in the range of any one item on my list.
    I couldn't turn it down.
good honing practice if nothing else.
but after examining them. they are very nice, keepers for sure. some names I haven't heard of, but that in itself, didn't say a lot.
    I got;
    Jonathan Crookes
    6/8 full hollow spike
    Hytone
    7/8 full hollow spike
    Wiss 45
    5/8 full hollow spike
    KBExtra 67
    5/8 full hollow spike

  10. Looking forward to your shave evaluation. The fuller blade looks great but I did not find them to be very sharp. I would recommend a new blade.

  11. Received these two purdy (yes, yes...I know that's highly subjective :) ) vintage, American shaving brushes:

They are both rather similar to two brushes that I already have. Similar...yet not the same.

The two Never-Shed brushes on the left have a slightly different handle and the engravings on the metal is different.
I really like the look of these two...

The two brushes on the right are kind of similar but in the end different 'enough' and even by different manufacturers.

And here is the vintage, American boyband all lined up...still waiting for makeup and wardrobe.

  13. You're a C4? Well, I'm a C3 and have yet to come across a C3 super speed.

  14. I agree. Leviathan is one is those scents that some people either love or hate. B&M has great performance and glad to hear you like the scent.

  16. Not shaving related but the mailman was also kind enough to bring me my brand new, handmade leather wallet from PopovLeather in Canada.

First impression is I love it. The size, look, feel...even the smell!
I went with the traditional bifold wallet in driftwood leather and cream stitching.

I've already stuffed some cards and bills into it and it'll be ready to hit the road with me tomorrow morning!
This might be the best wallet I've ever owned...and now I'm gonna try out being a front-pocket carrier :D

  17. C4... that sounds pretty explosive...
Ten years after my entrance on earth. Great year for cars, too.
  18. I've always been one (front pocket carrier, which doesn't mean I carry front pockets -chuk yuk yuk)
  19. I wasn't planning on making any more purchases as I have 9 razors in total......... Buuuuuuuuut.. I got a great deal on this beauty. I'm hoping it looks as good as I think it does.
