February 19 Edwin Jagger DE89 Feather (2) PSO, Hot Shower, Nivea Face wash Omega 10066 Boar Shaving Brush Route 66 Barbershop Hop soap Alum, Nivea balm, Pinuad Clubman Doc Elliott's beard balm
Except for one tiny weeper which healed right away this shave was perfect. Smoother than silk, bitterly-cold and comfortable thanks to the Glacial Lemon Chill soap's awesome, frigid yogurt-like lather. The Lucky Tiger aftershave cream does such a great job of cooling and soothing the skin - now I know it's so popular in barbershops across North America. The Snake Bite aftershave splash can freeze you to Kingdom Come!
February 19, 2016 Prep: hot shower Lather: TSD Old Spice type Brush: TGN synthetic Burma Shave handle Razor: Blackland Blackbird Blade: Dorco ST300 (4) Post: Avon Spicy Overall a good shave. The TSD Spice type soap has a powdery scent and is very good. First use provided a slick and creamy lather. The Dorco blade continues to give a good, but unimpressive shave - no tugging, but not very smooth. The Avon Spicy aftershave compliments the scent of the soap and should carry with for a good part of the day.
SOTD February 19, 2016 Prep: Hot Shower. Noxzema Razor: Blackland Blackbird Blade: Voskhod Lather: WSP Barbershop Brush: RazoRock Natural Boar 26x64mm Post: Thayers Cucumber WH. Gold Bond Ultimate Aftershave: WSP Barbershop Very relaxing shave, my new RR boar brush is fantastic! Soft from the get go. WSP makes a great soap/aftershave. The BB is a great razor! Automatic smoothness.. Never let the things you WANT Make you forget the things you HAVE!
My goodness, Kerry! What an elegant setup. The new brush is just lovely, and the color of the wood is beautiful.
It's my to. It can take out 4 day growth like I take out cake. It is still mellow enough for a daily haver too

SOTD 2/19 Merkur 34C / GSB (4) VDH Delux soap Satin Tip The Purest CWR and Nivea sensitive ASB 4 shaves with the GSB and it shows no signs of slowing. The VDH took a little more effort to whip into shape but in the end gave a fantastic lather and it has a nice subtle clean scent. Two passes and a little touch up left me with a irritation free DFS, ready to take on this Friday and get the weekend started! Wishing you all an amazing shave and day
