Non-shaving related..but a very exciting acquisition for me - my new Slow Watch (JO 17). "Thanks" @ChiefShaver for the enabling - I absolutely love this watch. Took me twenty-thirty minutes to 'adjust' to how it represents time but it's already second nature and the ability to view the whole day as one rotation on the watch does make a difference. The leather strap here is the 'roughest' and thickest that they have. The other leather ones are rather thin and buttery soft but I wanted something a bit more 'raw' to go with the stainless steel. (The 'writing' on the back is from an un-peeled plastic sticker) So in the span of two weeks I've bought both a wallet and a watch - and the last time I bought either of those were 10+ years ago. I think I'm all leathered-up for spring and summer to arrive. Really happy with both purchases. Slow Jo 17 watch and Popov wallet. May it be at least another ten years before I need to replace either of them.

Resale shop had a full bottle (made in Mexico, I think) of Mennen Baby Magic Colonia. That's right...cologne for babies.* It's just barely in the neighborhood of barbershop scent (the powderiness) with a hint of that fragrance they use in their baby shampoo, plus something not too dissimilar to Agua de Colonia. A hit of Clubman, Canoe or Windjammer might make it into something appealing to the ladies without you smelling like a new diaper, but I haven't decided whether I'm going to try it. Might just put it as is into the Traveling Box of Travel. *not to be confused with Axe
Unlike the last time I found some Pinaud colognes ... This time I only purchased 2. One of each scent.
That's a really nice watch and wallet. I like the idea of seeing the whole day on the watch. A very novel concept.
