If this morning`s shave wasn`t a BBS, then they don`t make` em. I am sooo pleased with myself, I can hardly stand it. Truthfully, it was more the tools I used that accomplished my boasting. I only hold them, they do most of the work.
Feb. 20/2016
Razor: Gillette Tech(copper top).
Blade: Rapira platinum lux(5)
Soap: Italian Barber Primavera
Brush: VDH
Oil : home made (orange scent)
This was so simple..... Lathered up with Italian Barber, WTG straight forward, both sides, all the way down, including neck area. 2nd pass ATG straight forward, both sides. 3rd pass was thin watery lather to clean up and not much there to do. Rinsed off, applied Nivea after shave balm. Voila ! BBS for sure. No irritation(no whiskers), just smooth skin all over! Happy Camper am I. This just might be my go to routine. I am looking at a VDH Pure Badger at Walmart for 18 bucks ( opinions please), I don`t know much about brushes, and when I run out of Rapiras, `I`ll go back to my Personnas (blue 100/ box).
Other than that, I should stick pretty close to this morning`s routine, of course I`ll still do my usual rotation, with injector s (maybe se, and I have a Durham duplex, that I`ve been afraid of for months. If there is anyone with experience with it, I would appreciate some tutoring. With appreciation for the great members at TDS, thank you.
