Looks like a FRANKENRAZOR razor. The handle is off of a fat handle tech don't recognize the head but as long as the teeth aren't bent, does it matter for 1.99?
Gold Dollar 208 Straight Razor.. I must be losing the plot..I bought the Chinese Made Gold Dollar Full Hollow Ground from Billyj11 on EBay..Its meant to be shave ready from the box..He said that he has reworked the full blade from Top to Bottom..For £25.00 Posted I thought even if its a Snyder It aint Broke the Bank..There is an Old Gent from the USA that Customizes the Gold Dollar & gets up everybody's Noses by saying that they shave Near as Good as anything out there if they are properly set up..I like him..Needless to say..A lot of Folks Don't.. My first Frankenrazor. Yeah! I have a ball end tech that the fat handle may fit, but I'm hoping the OC will operate well. I watched that auction for a bunch of days afraid to bid thinking it might draw the attention of others. Maybe the crusty green growth scared everyone away.
Tech heavy handle. Head looks like a knockoff Old Style. The green crud will clean off, and not hurt anything.
Well, I sold off a ton of stuff from my den that doesn't see any use. Those funds pretty much were all sent to the Isle of Mann as fast as they came in.

I've heard the Gold Dollars are made from good steel, and if you get one that has been reworked by an expert, they are good razors.
Yeah..The Guy that I got it from is in his late 60s..He sent me a PM yesterday & said it will shave from the Box..He reckons the edge on these will hold for at least 6 months with daily stropping & bit of paste occasionally..I wont be using it anything like daily..He also said that you need a particular set of skills to hone these ones & advised me to send it back to him at a Low Cost..Happy Days by the Sounds of it..
