2016 RAD calendar predictions

Trying to predict what razor will have the biggest buzz throughout 2016.

Here's a first wild stab... Anyone have anything to add/change?

Note: These are ALL predictions/guesses!

January:
- Blackland's Blackbird
- Seygus

February:
- Art of Shaving releases two LE Gillette Tech-like razors.
- Barbaros

March:
- The Single Edge by Supply Provision
- IBC Shavette color options

April:
- The General by Colonial Razors

May:
- The Bunny by @twhite

June - OC month:
- @ShaneS announces The Blackbird OC head
- Mongoose announces its OC base plate

July:
- iKON SE

August:
- Classic Shaving launches a new 'Cobra' version replacing the King Cobra - "The Emperor Cobra".

September:
- The Beluga razor. Believe it or not but I think it will come out

October:
- New Injector razor released by startup heavily inspired by Schick Type A
- The Falcon. Will it ever fly? We'll see.. Fingers crossed.

November:
- The Zaffiro razor finally hits the market at $199

December:
- The OneBlade will have a holiday sale at $150/razor

 

I think the release of the Bunny razor by @twhite should be Easter.....

 

As good a prediction as any
I see the Seygus and Barbaros making a splash in the first half of 2016
Hope the Falcon gets up and running by year end

If you had to guess...what month would you pick?

Good call on Seygus and Barbaros.
I think Seygus is already selling at limited quantities so putting them in January.
Barbaros is slated to hit the market first week of Feb so I placed them there.

The Falcon..sigh..yeah....I'll be honest in that personally I don't think it'll happen...but hey, you never know...I plunked them down for November

The One Blade is going to be $150 in this coming December?

 

Having said that... OneBlade did "like" my tweet about this list...so who knows
The guess was based on last year's $194 December price that apparently went really well for them.

 

$150 is a price I could like/buy at. But not $300.

 

Yeah, if I hadn't seen the $194 offer last month I doubt I would had ever tried it.
Having said that I'm very happy I did as I really love the razor.

 

@twhite Just noticed Tom - you're not 'slotted' until May (not April) - so you have a whole more month

 

Yeah if the oneblade was $150 I'd have to convince the wife to let me dip into the savings for that. That'd be awesome.

I can't add anything to this as I don't have my ear to the razor grounds like you do. But I would love to try to get a seygus pass around started. That razor intrigues me.

 

The Single Edge Custom actually sounds very appealing and is a decent price point.

 

Anyone can add pictures so I know what we are talking about? Been a month on TSD and still have no clues at a lot of things.
