Night Shaves

So. I hope I'm not the only night shifter here that shaves after. Long day before winding down. Tonight, it was my trusty Gillette travel tech, dollar store dorco blade (2) and some Vander Hagen deluxe. Achieved a DFS with only mild irritation. Probably due to my trusty brush losing the center of the knot. I'll correct that pay day with another $5 boar brush. I enjoy the one available at the local harps. Breaks in nice and will serve until I save up. So. Anyone else like a good bedtime shave,

 

I tend to shave whenever I have time, sometimes it is in the morning, and sometimes it is at night. The night shaves help because if you get any irritation it can heal before work. I like to splash on some A/S every night before I go to sleep, regardless if I shaved or not.

 

Day shifter here. Morning shower and shave for me. Gets the day started right.
There is no wrong time to shave; shave when ya want!

 

Solely a morning shaver here. Always worked the traditional 9-5, sort of. Night shavers are out there, but they keep in the shadows.

 

Night shaver on weekdays. Morning shaver on weekends.

 

Your right. Every day I can't sleep I wake and wonder why that giant lightbulb hasn't been turned off yet. I dint think I've a curtain color besides black in years. I know it's bet time when it's dawn. But, its quieter, less traffic, and as any other call center agent knows, less calls

I work until midnight and shave after a hot shower when I get home. It doesn't make sense to shower before going to work to get greasy and dirty. Doing so after work is part of my relaxing routine.

 

That's how I feel. Plus, the relaxing nature of the shave helps a lot with my insomnia

 

Anytime i feel the mood strike ha...currently i have two days a week i need to be up pretty early so i night shave (if at all) two days not so early at all so if i shave its before work because theres plenty of time to get ready

 

I work from home and end up showering/shaving mid to late afternoon after the gym. I guess that qualifies me as a morning and night shaver .

 

I'm an evening shaver. I shower when I get home from work (5ish) and shave afterwards. I will be doing my first DE shave tonight, thanks Linuxguile, and I'm looking forward to it helping me wind down after sitting in rush hour traffic.

 

I find I get my best shaves with about 36-hrs between shaves so I night shower & shave fairly often.

 

Im the same way...I have as much time as I need, and it relaxes me.

I shave whenever the kids are quietest. Its no good having random shrieks and stuff hitting the bathroom door when you're going ATG on your neck with a straight. All the makings for a near decapitation.

 

Night shave for me during the week. I try to hit the treadmill for a few miles after work a couple times a week and shave after my post workout shower. Gives my face time to heal before work the next day too. On weekends I shave whenever. I typically only shave 3 or 4 times a week anyway.

 

I shave at night every day (actually more very early morning 2-3am) haha. I love it. It is really relaxing to go from a shower, to shave, to bed. Works great for me.

 

I work in outdoor environments with a long drive in the morning. So, after work/evening is when I have time to spend on a good shower and shave. Then ready for going out, or just feel better hanging at the house.

 

I'm NOT a morning person and take my morning showers in the dark cause I'm still half asleep. I assume the combination of being half asleep and showering in the dark doesn't make for a good shave. My shaves happen at night where I'm awake and can take and enjoy my time.
