Trying to read your grand blade trials, but can't seem to get a link there. Do you have one? I'm about to try several sample packs with a slim, and I'd love to learn a bit ahead of time.

Glad you like the half & half Tabac/ MWF -- I find it a very happy combination. This is the second shaving stick I've made this way, and I learned from my first attempt not to pack the mixed soap flakes too tightly -- results in a stick that is too difficult to push up.

I'd be keen to hear how your experiment turns out -- happy shaves!

Just a normal guy who has discovered a great past tradition and have embraced it for a lifetime of enjoyment. Who knew shaving could be fun and rewarding and not just something you do.

Note: All blade comparisons/reviews are my observations and opinions based on my experience. As always, your results with blades and setups may differ due to individual traits, habits, and technique. In other words, YMMV. Furthermore - this notice applies to soaps/razors/brushes and everything else. Just saying.
