Which 1930s Aristocrat gives the better shave: the England model or the US model?

 

To me, they are really pretty much the same (which is very good), although the build quality and heft of the Brits is quite a bit beyond that of the US models. Nonetheless, both versions are simply wonderful shavers.

 

Well, that settles it for me. I prefer a lighter razor. Thanks.

 

yea.. the top two are #15's and bottom one is a #21.
although now that I think of it the #21 isn't from the 30's..
did you receive your #16 yet?? I can't wait to see the photos hint hint!

Do you happen to know when the 21 was produced?

No #16 yet. I have been trying to be patient. It isn't going to be anything particularly nice, has some plating loss and such, but I am excited about it.

 

Well since we aren't limited to the 30's Aristocrats....

I believe the #21 was first manufactured in 1948.. and ceased in 1952.

 

Well, you really can't talk about Aristocrats without Presidents, Diplomats, and Adjustable Executives entering into the conversation, right?

 

Okay, since it's gone this far, might as well throw a Toggle into the mix.
