1958 (D-1 date code) Gillette Adjustable, aka Gillette Toggle. New-Old-Stock set, never used, blades still sealed. Includes gold foil $10.00 price tag, instructions booklet and warranty registration card.

Thanks all. I'm quite excited to have a Toggle from its first year of production, before they skipped a year of production only to bring it back in 1960. Seems 1958 was Gillette's "throw it all at the wall and see what sticks" year as that was the first year of the "red dot" Fat Boy, 1-9-settings Adjustable "Toggle" (the 1-5-settings toggle with serial numbers were out in 1956) and the gold "Executive" Fat Boy.

 

Toggles have been the most unique and beautiful razors made IMO. They're just so frickin expensive.
