OH MY GOODNESS! I don't know if I have been honored, or branded.

For my next whack at the hornet's nest, I think I will go over to the Barbasol thread and tell people I dip the can in hot water for an hour to make it work better.

    Shaving Tips
    [IMG]
    • Don’t spare the hot water.
    • Any mug will do. You can even use your hand.
    • Use circular motions to brush up a thick lather.
    • Use a sharp blade.
    • Rinse with cool water, towel dry, then finish with an aftershave such as Aqua Velva.

I used to do that with barbasol, not for an hour but just while i was in the shower, loved having warm lather. I have not tried it in years though, may be time to pick up a can.

The first time I lathered Williams, I tried to do it like most other soaps and used a brush that was too wet. Shortly there after I loaded it with a dryer brush and then dampened the brush to create the lather after the soap was on my face and I had great success.

When i first started i would just poor water in the mug and swish the brush around and would use soapy water, thought it was normal as before that i would shave in the shower with a bar of soap, grandpa took one look at my soap water, (used to have the pleasure if living the summer with him farming peach trees), anyways he took one look at my slightly soapy water and set me straight. It has just always latheted fine after his demonstration. When you tell people how easy it is to lather they freak out, i have 50+ pucks of williams, if it was as bad as people claim i would have a beard.
