Last week I picked up a sweet little brush a Rubberset 200-2. I first fell in love with style brush back a few years ago I think it was about 2015 when @HolyRollah posted a wooden handled Rubberset brush in this style that he was restoring. While the one I bought is not wooden it is the same style that I so dearly love. This is what it looked like when I bought it. After a haircut and removing all the stubble. This is after the glue plug was removed and finding out the handle was hollow and started to polish it up. This is after the handle is weighted and filled with epoxy and shined up. All shined up and the letters filled with white paint. The cork spacer I used to fill the gap because I didnt want to bury the knot 20mm I figured 13.4mm would be enough. That gave me a final loft of approximately 54.6mm. I hope that doesn't make for too floppy of a brush. I guess we will find out. The final product with the new 24mm Two Band Badger knot from Maggard Razor with approximately 54.6mm loft. Tomorrow I will lather it up and see what happens. Enjoy your lather and have a great day.
