I started looking at my stash after work today trying to find stuff to put in the box. Being a shave hoarder sure makes it tough to think about giving something away.
Box arrived yesterday safe and sound. Now to start sampling. Hard to see in the photo but in the lower left you can see some small plastic packages that have little glittery things in them of varying colors. Haven't a clue what they might be.
Pulled out the K C Shave razor this morning and loaded a Gillette 7 O'Clock black. Seemed fitting given the color of the tool. A very handsome razor with a solid heavy handle. Not the best balance with a light head but I like heavy razors so I adapted easily enough. I got a nice shave but only two passes. For my beard the blade needs just a bit more curve. I had one across the grain weeper on the second pass so I skipped pass number three and finished with a couple of touch-ups. The razor really caught my eye but it will stay in the box. The Bolero watermelon and aloe toner was very nice and quite refreshing. I'm keeping it. All of it. Same goes for the AOS balm. Very nice product and with three in the box there's some for someone else.
