Astra SP blade (fresh).
Yaqi 24mm synthetic brush.
Lakewood Soap Company Smokeberry shave soap.
Timeless Razor shave bowl.
Irish Chestnut by Andy Hilfiger cologne.

I went with level two this morning by flipping the base plate. There is definitely a difference but the razor is still smooth. Level one is .95mm and level 2 is 1.35mm gap. Three nice passes with no blood loss.

Yesterday while doing some research, I came across a video of a guy talkinabout "10 Great Fragranes 4 Men(not the exact title, but something like that.) While some were familiar (Creed's Green Irish Tweed, Clubman, Polo Green)he had two I never heard of so I checked them. VERY EXPENSIVE, but probably worth every penny. They are 1)-Eight And Bob and 2)-Knize 10. Anyone know about these? Knize 10 is at Pasteur's.

 

Great finale for Razorock(American Barber), and Clubman A;S; Not a "finale", but we'll see if I can squeeze it in again before it gets real hot. Clean and fresh all over the map. 2 passes. Zero cuts, Knicks, and polka-dots. A Knick, by the way, is a polka-dot on steroids, I guess they(Knicks)play basketball, too, huh? . Some extra work alongside rhe jawline(under right ear), an area which has given me fits. The Clubman A.S.(some pronounce it ClubMUN)was great as always. As Outstanding As It Gets.

Excellent final shave with the Proraso cream. Time to move on to the next soap designated for assignment. Actually there will be two. Lather Bro. Calle Ocho will get the periodic 1508.5 treatment while the OCSC Brocha will be designated for Friday Fougere shaves.

The W & B razor took care of this morning’s growth with my customary three passes. The post shave routine yielded an exceptionally smooth and irritation free feel. The Pinaud Clubman aftershave sealed the deal. I am smelling good and looking forward to a productive day.

Finishing up the month with my Fat Boy. I've learned that a FB on 9 is nothing to be afraid of. It's crazy efficient. I also confirmed my thought that a sharp, fresh blade is an awesome thing leading to comfortable, smooth shaves and a dull blade is the devil's tool that will cut you when you aren't looking.

Excellent shave Chris. I concur regarding the Merkur slant, 37c. I picked up the 37c about 27 years ago. It was my first DE razor since my younger days in the late 70s. Why I pick the 37c over some other Merkurs and other manufacturers? I can only surmise that I may have been intrigued by the slant design.
