I don't think the case is original, but anything is possible. I think that the razor is the same as the one you already had 2 of. I was bidding on this one too. I think this should be the Canadian Military one. I bought one of mine in a case that was the perfect size, but the case had another brand marking on it.
Yeah, isn't that the one in your military set? This one looks just like that to me. (like the second one in Chris' picture above.)
That is a nice fit. If it's Bakelite I'd say there'd be a good chance it was original. Does it have a Gillette mark? Nice. I agree with Rodd though, the one in the case is the ribbed Canadian one. Someone once said it was a Military version and I saw one in a khaki set once also. Circumstantial I know.
