DE SOTD, Saturday, July 30th 2022 Razor : Gillette regular flare tip Super speed 1956 B2- Mfg 1956, 2nd qtr, mild razor, very smooth shaving, well built, works well with a extra wide Kai SS blade, the blade drives the efficentcy up a notch and can give a great shave. Blade : Kai SS (4)- top 5 tier of my DE blades, sharp & smoooth with excellent longevity, great blade for mild razors in a persons collection that hardly get used because the razor is to mild for your preference. Very impressive blade and glad I purchased some tucks a few yrs ago. Soap : Ach Brito Lavanda cream, very nice mild spearmint Lavender scent with excellent lather qualities. Very nice cream. Brush : Yaqi Dandelion 24mm cashmere knot, excellent lather generator, heavenly cloud like soft tips, gentle scrubber + excellent lather painter. Pre shave : (Dedicated Cashmere synthetic)Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser with a dollop of clear Aloe Vera on the cleaned beard area. Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups. Post shave : Ach Brito Lavanda with witch hazel + a dollop of CeraVe moisturizing lotion(scentless). Results :CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= excellent shave with my Gillette flare tip SS with a Kai extra wide blade. Have some great shaves!
