Is anyone out there a fan of Isla malts?

I can recommend two that I recently bought -

Coal Ila Distillers' Edition & Ardbeg Uigeadail.

Both were outstanding & I've drunk a lot of different Isla malts...................today:)

Yes, thanks for enabling access from your post; I wasn't sure how to do so.

Caol Ila is a great whisky. It is the shoulder whisky for Johnny Black.

I've sampled Ardbeg Uigeadail and Lagavulin 16, but mostly I'm a friend of The Frog (Laphoraig). :)
I do like my Islay malts.

Absolutely! Any Laphroaig bottling is worth buying.

Try a speyside. My favorite??? Aberlour a'bunadh. Cask strength, a little touch of water really opens it up. Fantastic stuff.

I have always been a fan of Glenlivet, a very smooth Speyside Malt.

Islay Malts are to smoky for me. I prefer Malts from Speyside like Balvine and Glenrothes. I also like The Highlands such as Glenmorangie.

Glenmorangie (emphasis on the o) is a fantastic single malt. A friend of mine's father worked there for many years. Thier Port Wood finish is fantastic.

Try Highland Park. Great stuff and made in Orkney and is from the northermost distillery in Scotland.

For a lowland scotch try Auchentoshan 3 wood if you can find it. Truly it is worth the money.

Got my roommate some of that for his birthday recently. I've had good experiences with it and thought it would be a good one to share. :)
