Ok guys you have created a monster! About a month ago I was reading a few threads about a few of you cold water shaving so I thought I would take the plunge, so it started getting hot in Santa Rosa off and on, the weather doesn't know what it wants to do. So I give it a shot, now I'm hooked, I'm even plunging the razor in a big container of water with ice cubes. So this will be great in the summer but the winter they will call you the ice man cometh. So how do you guys write on your status "fellowship of cold water shavers" in red or should we change it to ice water? Try the ice water it's unreal " like a cold steel rail" Pink Floyd
We've had some great weather of late! When it's really hot in the summer I'll take a cold water only shower,
The ice water devotees are in the cold water club. Many of us have the Fellowship of Cold Water Shavers in our signatures as a link to that thread. THanks to Jim, @Jayaruh for getting that thread and official group started. You can see it HERE. Or click on it in our signatures. There are a good many ice water fans - @Robyflexx and @ob1page come to mind. I love cold water shaves - very invigorating, refreshing, and helps limit redness and irritation.
I am also finding myself cold water shaving. It is quite refreshing. I honestly cannot imagine doing it in the winter, though. We will just have to wait and see what happens. I sure know I am enjoying it now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Wecome to the CWS fold. Although I haven't taken the plunge into the polar bear club it's only because my ice maker is on the fritz. Otherwise I'd be plunging thru the ice.
I have used cold water, but never ice water. I am sooooo trying this. I live in Texas afterall, where it is scorching about 11 months out of the year. If i pair this with a menthol soap and aftershave, it may change my life.
