First pic showing what they looked like. The red and black looked something like acetone was spilled on it as the plastic was crazed over. Just a guess........ What I thought was a wood handle, turned out not to be, also no maker's mark on it. After some sanding and removing the knot, then enlarging the hole. It looks like the handle is made of some kind of white resin........ Handle primed and ready for paint........ The Ever-Ready 300PBT handle came apart easy. Knot removed and hole enlarged and being hollow and apart, it made it easier to add a few pennies to the bottom half with epoxy for added weight........ Ever-Ready brush assembled with a 20mm Boar knot, lightly sanded and polished. Other brush painted Gunship Grey, clear coated and a 21mm Synthetic added to it........
Nice. Both look great, although I tend to lean toward the ever-ready restores since I have one. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
