A couple razors I've had for a bit.

I've had these razors for a bit and forgot to post them. I also have a question on one of them. On the HESS the pin is too tight. It also doesn't close center because of it being way too tight. Is there any way to loosen it up without removing the pin and redoing it?

I like the Hess, but I can't help you on your question. I'm sure someone can.
The Heljestrand is a bit skinny for me, 3/8.

@Suhrim21 , no loosening up of the pjn. Thhe pin is bent, more than likely. I have found a Jewelers Saw is the safest, and fastest way to remove the scales. You cut the pivot pin from inside the scales. Then, just re-pin it properly.

I really like the yellow Hess.

I will have to find the parts needed to cut the pin and repin the razor. I do not want to damage it as it is in terrific shape. Guess it's time to learn to pen and pin scales on a razor. I hope I dont damage them.

Thank you. It compliments the HESS No 1 I have very nicely. Just needs a bit of polish to make it pop.

Thank you. It is a beauty and was bought for a great price.

You might try a little lube on the pivot, I usually use bicycle chain wax. It lubricates and repels water. Might or might not eork, but cheap and non-destructive.
