    Hey everyone

You guys know I'm not entirely new to this hobby and way of shaving.

    This is my neck
    [IMG]

You can see the "closeness" of my shave on my neck. There is no chance for an ingrown whatsoever, so why the hell do I always get those red spots in the SAME PLACE almost every time! It's very annoying. I usually only do WTG.

Sometimes XTG. NEVER ATG.. It's getting annoying. I thought WH was gonna help

Down there, there is always the possibility of an ingrown. That's what it looks like to me.

The one on the top is an ingrown apparently yes haha. But why? Can't I do anything to prevent it

They're somewhat random for me. I'll get one every so often. Usually if I allow beard growth more than 48hours. They always occur on the lower neck.

I get those too... I switched aftershaves from anything with moisturizer to alcohol and witch hazel when they show up. Their gone the next morning. Lately I have just used witch hazel.

In growns. Hard to prevent. Some guys' hairs just curl that way. Maybe an exfoliant soap pre-shaving might get that top layer of skin off and free up the hair.

I have actually lately been exfoliating my skin every day. So it should be preventing this!

It can, but if the hair tends to curl it's very difficult to prevent. Good Luck.

Try a prehave oil, something to get the hairs to stand up. Maybe that'll help?

    +1

Also a moisturizer before bed may help loosen it.

Looks like an ingrown to me. Ya might try some light exfoliation as part of your pre-shave routine.

Or, do what I do and dig at it with a tweezer and hope it doesn't scar. (do not do this)

Maybe your wife uses a red Sharpie on your neck at night while your sleeping just to drive you nuts. Women do that, you know.

Good suggestion, I actually do this. To loosen the ingrown I actually put some acne spot treatment last night. I think it helped, a little but it's still in there
