Hi. I'm fairly new to the use of a safety razor, a choice made by careful deliberation and a small investment. I use a Feather safety razor and one of Vulfix's least-expensive #10 brushes, so it's obvious how slowly I'm taking this foray. Nevertheless, I've found myself satisfied with the results of using shave soap and a fresh razor compared to the arduous task of burning my face with a cartridge. I was surprised to find that when I researched straight razors, there was a considerable community of men who turned away from the expensive and wasteful cartridge to embrace something older that did the job just as well or better -- and I found that the safety razor was a cost-effective alternative and a first-timer-friendly solution. I'm certain I'll be trying a straight razor eventually, but until then... a 3-piece will work excellent. Thanks for the kind greetings in advance.
My apologies... I forgot that there were indeed women using classic razors as well. Please forgive my oversight, and thank you for the drama-free welcome.
No worries. We don't care for drama around here. It's certainly difficult to avoid at times, but we try our darnedest.
