Ouch. I know how painful that can be. I sliced about the same amount off of my left ring finger when I was still working as a chef. Brutal. I damn near passed out.

I have met 1 or 2 folks along the way that made me wish their finger pointing caused them pain. Had a similar injury a couple of years back, and I just realized the skin finally feels back to normal. Took a little while.
