Abandoned home opened after 50 years

    Someone still has to be paying taxes on that house. Otherwise the state would have taken it over and had a huge estate sale. It is pretty eerie though that they just split just like that.

    Yeah agree, and it makes me ask why someone does that? Why pay for something for 50 years when it's just abandoned?

    I dunno why but if it was me taking those photos I would have shat my pants in horror. Abandoned homes creeps me out.

    But Boy would I love to salvage vintage items from such homes. Maybe not gold value but definitely retro value for sentimental reasons.
