Well the 23rd is finally here. I used a early three hole blade for one pass, then had to switch to a feather for the rest of the shave. The brush is one that I am restoring. This sure was a great and unique shave
It pulled a little but was not really that bad..I should have sharpened the blade up a little more. I wanted to use a old blade for the 100 year shave for the razor
Ah, I was wondering how an old blade like that would work. Congrats on the 100 year old shave! Like Justin and Tom said, thanks for sharing and the awesome pictures you posted. :happy088
The interesting thing about this razor is the papers say its a 1909, which means the accepted last ser# of B222220 for 1909 may be wrong. The razor also has the rare diamond and arrow logo on the guard
That is so cool. Thats a fine piece of history as you have the original packaging. Is it a family heirloom or a collected piece?
That was a great idea. Good going. I wouldn't have thought to use a 3 hole blade but it's certainly very appropriate. Best, Len
