That’s unfortunate. I love my slant razors, S1 and S2. I only have one cap so now is the time to buy the second so I’ll have two complete razors. Edit: ordered.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. I foresee that between the cheap Chinese made stainless razors, and the self cannibalism going on with more and more manufacturers splitting a niche group of shavers, this will be the end of more than one premium razor manufacturer, and that it will happen much faster than anyone expects.
I started out trying to rebut this statement, but the more and more I dissected your post, the more, and more I agreed with your missive. Well stated.
The irony of the situation is of course this, now ATT razors will suddenly be in demand and out of production as people talk about how great they shave. But it won't save the company right now. ATT's will be the next Weber razor. The unobtainable is always desired.
I love my two ATT artist club razors (SE1 & SE2). Yesterday I picked up an R2 head and a Kronos handle for $25. Nice to know all these razors just went up in value. Or is it sad...? Sent from my SM-G991U using Tapatalk
Tip of the iceberg, eh? Hey, Zingari Man, Hub City, please stick around-I'm beginning to like you fellas.
Not yet they haven't. Give it a few years. You'll get a few panic buys initially and that will set the bar for how much they aren't worth to everyone else afteewards.
Not surprised they went under. The second Stan left ATT they became the equivalent of shaving background noise.
