Hi, I have been wet shaving for about 10 yrs with a double edge razor. I'm 61 yrs old and think I may have the start of Parkinson's. I'm having a problem holding the razor because of a shaky hand. Not sure if I want to go with a electric shaver or cartridge with just 2 blades. Anyone recommend a model for either of the two.
    Thanks, Joe

I have a similar problem myself, except my hands do not shake the seem to go numb at the most inopportune moments. I would say if you are having tremors or shaking, you could use a disposable "Schick Extreme 3 razor or a Wilkinson Sword Disposable razor", I have them both as a back up razor's I do not know what brand of DE Razor you use. I use a Weber or my Above the Tie Razor, but I prefer my Weber.
Good Luck I hope this helps.

Hey Joe! Welcome to TSD! My hands are a little shaky at times, so no straight razor for me. Think about an injector or as Patrick said a disposable. Please sign up for the Newbie Give-Away HERE

A Schick Type G is nice, and won't break the bank. I use Schick injector blades. Here's both.

Trac II is also a good alternative. You can get a handle on e-Bay and cartridges are available.
