After absolutely loving using mentholated witchhazel for the last few months, my quest for menthol continues, I have read great reviews about Osage Rub, But the only place I can get it from is in Germany, so I did a bit more searching and found Alcolado Glacial, Available from several vendors here in the UK, I don't know much about it but thought I would give it a try( I vaguely remember that Jo-Anna used to stock it a while back), anybody use this on a regular basis, is it as cold as I've heard Osage Rub is.!!!!
I make mine, a bottle of witch hazel, a teaspoon of olive oil into which you melt some menthol crystals, how much is your preference, add to your witch hazel and shake well. Some folks dissolve them straight into the witch hazel, but I have found that they don,t dissolve fully, the choice is yours!!!!
Like the "A.G." I believe that mine came from Walgreen . Value priced and doesn't have the strong Vicks scent that Osage has.
I use Osage Rub even on days I don't shave. It wakes me up and gives me that boost I need for class to feel refreshed.
I somehow find Alcolado Glacial slightly colder than Osage Rub, and it even smells nicer, although Osage Rub smells decent also.
