I never use them for spent blades, I have a blade safe that got at classic shaving for used blades. I refill those empty plastic containers that Derbys of Feathers come in with Israelis from the bulk box of 100. That way I just have the small containers of blades in my medicine cabinet and the bulk of my blade stash in a drawer in a dry secure location.
