    ......Truefitt & Hill!
I tried Taylor's, Trumper's, Cyril Salter and Castle Forbes, but out of all the English brands (or all brands), T&H produces the thickest, richest lather. Or do you dare.....disagree? :angry019:

Sure, I'll disagree! Castle Forbes is the bomb! One must be careful with such "explosive" lather - injury could result! We can agree to disagree, or you can "work yourself into a lather" over this!

I've never used T&H, but it's one I'd like to. Have you ever tried Tabac? If so, how does it compare latherwise?

Nuka Menthol Cream. It lathers itself.

Is rich, thick lather really the best? Or would you prefer a lighter slicker lather if it stayed on your face and helped you get a better shave?

Yet to try T & H but Tabac makes great lather as does Martin De Candre.

I did try Tabac but that was years ago and they changed the formula since then adding silicon (dimethicone). Thus I don't know how today's Tabac compares. But as far as I can remember its lather was not up there with T&H's.
Sure, a shaving cream doesn't need to produce a dense lather, but it looks and feels so great to run my razor through it.
