I prefer single malt scotch over bourbon but lately I've been drinking Clyde May's Straight Bourbon. I don't mix any drinks. That usually entails adding sugar and I don't like sugar in my alcohol. So I drink everything, and I mean everything by itself. Even vodka. I've also been drinking Bulleit Rye. Either one I drink on the rocks. Generally a finger or two with 5 rocks and I'm good. And I just found out that Clyde May's has a Straight Rye as well. Definitely going to have to give that one a try.
Going a bit lowbrow tonight pick up a bottle of Duggan's Dew. I say lowbrow due that some say it's not much better than rotgut, but that said ..... I like it. BTW it's a Scotch Whisky and really not bad for the price. And still produced in glass unlike some of other well known jokers.
My new favorite is Virgil Kaine Ginger Infused Bourbon, thanks to a good friend. It's made right here in SC. 2 ice cubes and 3 drops of Angostura aromatic bitters, and it is all I need. For $26, and it serves me quite well. I don't feel inclined to spend more when I enjoy the flavor of this more than most more expensive bourbon I have tried. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk

I liked the Kingsman movies, so I got a bottle of Statesman. I'm happy with it, though out of Bourbon, Tennessee sour mash (JD), and Scotch, I like Scotch the most and Bourbon the least.
Not much a drinker but I did pick up recently was Southern Comfort, 70%. Must been the fact it's from New Orleans. Biased, I know. lol
While at the cabin; my son and I worked on a bottle of Evans Williams (black label) over the weekend.
Thats some good stuff! I’ve also been enjoying “Early Times”. It’s actually replaced my Evan Black for now.
Got to enjoy a Calumet 15 year, a WhistlePig 15 year rye, and several other WhistlePig offerings over the weekend with my cousin. Way beyond my price point, but it was an enjoyable time. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
