Funny, this brand flies below the radar but makes amazing shaving creams and soaps. I stopped by EShave's Versy St. location in NYC during a recent trip and picked up a tub of White Tea shaving cream and companion aftershave balm. I had the best shave ever with this product. I know does not have the same brand story as the three Ts (Trumpers, T&H and Taylors) but the cream just dusts the lot in my personal experience.
I have never heard of them until now, did a search and found their site. I am pretty much a mininalist when it comes to products, trying to keep my creams and soaps under $10. Glad to hear that you had great results, as all that really matters is that you enjoyed it
E-Shave products are not cheap, but they are concentrated and they go a long way. I find just a tiny dab of shave cream whips up to a wicked lather with my Muhle silver tip brush. To be honest, it's my face and I'm not cheaping out with it.
After seeing a video by the founder I will not be sending any of my money to her. She says if it's not a badger brush then it's not a shaving brush. Shyster! Video
The buzz about the founder is enough to keep me dealing with TSD and RazoRock for the bulk, if not all of my soap and cream needs.
Yes, it is Ms. EShave and so watch it at your own risk because you will not get any of that time back!
Some free stuff from e-shave wandered into my house somehow... Nobody knows how it got here. I didn't really have a desire to try it and now that I hear that the Ms E-shave isn't a nice lady, I don't feel bad that they got thrown away or lost.
For the price of one tub of eShave, I can get two larger tubs of Handmade creams from JoAnna at the Shave Den store...seems like a no brainier to me. Although Danielle Malka is a self proclaimed "shaving expert", she sure makes a lot off false claims. But again, if a product works for you, even a canned goo, more power to you.
The founder may be a nutcase but their creams are incredible. I've have their Verbena Lime and White Tea creams and when these run out, I will be buying more to replace them.
I agree 5Savages, the E-Shave creams, shave soaps and aftershave balms are amazing product. As for the brushes and razor handles, not my thing, I'm happy with my Muhle Silver Tip brush and Edwin Jagger Chatsworth razor. E-Shave founder Danielle Malka seriously needs to re-write her "About" page on the Eshave website because she does sound nuts. Malka may be great getting E-Shave where it is but business owners should hand off writing web content to others better qualified.
How could I forget the ASB! They are also a phenomenal product. Definitely some of the best ASBs I've tried. I have not tried the soaps.
I got in on a trial pricing that was offered to another board when they first came out. Things may have changed since then, but the creams seemed to be good quality and good performers. But, none of the scents (at the time) did it for me and despite the quality, the creams seemed over priced compared to what I could get elsewhere.
