A couple of episodes ago on the The Walking Dead, they made an elderberry elixer to help recover from the flu. Doesn't help the thread that much, but thought I'd throw it in.

 

It's great for flu & colds. So is fire cider, but fire cider Burns like hell

 

Elderberry has natural anti-viral properties.

 

So does Granny Clampett's Rheumatism medicine, and it works as a rocket fuel as well!

 

It's all about the right treatment at the right time.
