Any Florida Water lovers out there?

Whenever I go back to my Murray and Lanman Florida Water I am reminded of how much I really like this subtle scent. I'm not normally into these lighter/floral scents but there is something about Florida Water that just makes it work for me.
I also love the long history of this product.

That it's about $3/bottle also doesn't hurt

Any other lovers out there of this very inexpensive, classic aftershave?

 

I am! I first used it 4 months ago. I'll use it more in the summer. But that my mean today, the temp is going to be in the mid 70's.

 

It is a regular in my rotation, I like the crisp scent with notes of floral.

 

Same. I just wish the scent would linger longer. For me it fades away w/in maybe 20 minutes.

 

Oh yes I've really liked it since the first time I tried it..It's funny I've seen Murray and Lanman Florida Water in stores since I was a kid, but never had the inclination to try it until I started "traditional" shaving..Now it's a permanent part of my AS rotation...Although I fully agree with "Darkbulb" and wish the scent had more staying power....

 

I like the scent, but I wished it didn't deliver a Hell fire burn to go with it.

 

Like it a lot in the warmer months. It couples well with menthol (M-bomb, Osage, etc). I also like the TSD FW Type soap and cologne to go with it.

 

I love Florida Water ... it is a very versatile scent and it is the only one I take when travelling.

 

I just got a bottle from TSD shop yesterday and used it for the first time this morning. I love it, and I don't mind the burn when first applied. I immediately placed it in rotation, and suspect that it is going to get used often. I might have to get some TSD soap in FW fragrance as well.

 

It has a very nice scent but as stated, it doesn't last long.

 

Maybe I got a bad bottle but to me it smells like gum balls. Not a big fan.

It's a funny coincidence. I just happened to come across one of my posts from April 2010 where I mentioned that I just got the bottle and like it. I can't even trust myself apparently.

 

I personally wear it any time of the year. Although, it does seem to work a little better for me in the Spring/Summer months. It has just enough lavender and clove notes to it to allow for year round. Great stuff!

I plan on re-visiting it. First impressions were NOT good. Like previously mentioned, at $3 a bottle I can afford to give it another shot

 

I just got some and I like it. Has a cinnamon scent with some citrus. Can't beat the price. Interesting label, from NY made in NJ.

 

I noticed several different manufacturers of Florida Water. Can someone tell me about the differences

 

I should get myself another bottle of Florida Water.
