I am an absolute menthol junkie and was wondering if anyone has suggestions on the most mentholated body washes or bar soaps. I have tried the Right Guard Xtreme Cooling, Axe Shock, and Nivea Cool, which were all very weak in terms of the menthol/cooling effect. I did pick up a bar of Dr. Bronner's Peppermint soap and it is pretty good, but I'm curious if there are any body washes that are more mentholated. Thanks in advance.
Get yourself some TSD M Bomb. It's liquid menthol additive that can make what ever you have as cold as you want. I add: 4-5 drops in my palm with my shampoo 3-4 drops to my lather bowl 2-3 drops in my palm with aftershave or aftershave balm. Don't see why it wouldn't work with a body wash.
Thanks.. I think the CO Bigelow Mentha bar soap or body wash will be next and I placed an order with TSD today, which includes the M Bomb . I'll be interested to see how it is when added to my Kiss My Face Cool Mint shave cream.
I use the C O Bigalow body wash. Out its pretty cooling but I have not tried the others mentioned to compare
Stirling Mentha Scrub gets my vote. If you can get it, Original Source Tea tree and Mint (body wash and shampoo) is the most chilling I've ever used.
I picked up a bottle of Trader Joes Tea Tree Tingle body wash the other day (tea tree oil, peppermint oil, eucalyptus) and I really like it. Smells nice and has at least the same tingle/cooling as Dr Bronners Peppermint. Stirling is supposed to release some Glacial bar soaps, so I'll definitely be hopping that train
My wife got me this axe body wash. It's in a white bottle and callex forest I think. Its got a proraso level menthol kick to it
I used a mint and menthol body wash with caffeine that I got from thinkgeek.com I think it was shower shock. I enjoyed it.
Stirling has a ton of "iced" and "glacial" bath soaps to choose from. They also have Rosemary Mint that has a crisp cool to it, and just a nice clean scent if you prefer that. The glacials will give you goosebumps when you get out of the shower, that's for sure.
Where was Stirlingsoaps during the years I was living Iin Washington DC,with the hot/humid summers? That was long before 2012, the year Rod and Amanda went to work with their soaps. My loss. But I'm glad I hooked on with them now.
