I had a chance to try their soaps recently. I have tried their Ciderhouse 5, Black Tea, and Briar. Their soaps where pretty thirsty when I first tried them, but great lather once I got the balance right. And I LOVED the briar scent. I don't even know how to describe it. But it will become a part of my collection moving forward.
I received a sample of the Briar and it's very good. The scent's a little strong but it's not overwhelming.
My brother really likes that soap but has found that it is very thirsty. He loves the smell of the soap. I had that issue when I tried some Yeti Snot. I had to use an unscented soap as a base and brush in a bit of the snot to keep from felting my face off. Or maybe freezing it off?
I have the PPF Coconut and it has quickly worked its way into my top 5! Super slick lather and good cushion.
I was curious about that... what is the scent like? Fresh coconut or toasted coconut or more like suntan lotion? Yeah, well you really shouldn't go around with snot on your face anyhow. People will think you're a little kid who doesn't know how to use a tissue.
Wait what?! I am not allowed to have a huge scary monster's snot on my face in public? But someone told me it was, like, really cool. THEY said my face was so cool... I think I misunderstood. Thought speaking of The Shaving Yeti, their website just went live with some discounts, I believe. The Shaving Yeti
I recently got Ciderhouse 5 and Black Tea, tried Ciderhouse and it irritated my skin, my first ever reaction to any soap. I won't be using it again and I've traded the Black Tea away, there are too many soaps I don't have a reaction to.
Where did you get a sample? I'd love to get either the Black Tea or Briar, but I wish I could get a sample of them to see which I'd rather have.
Had the BayRum, Irritated my face bad, had to trade it off. Good lather though, just strongly scented.
A recent acquisition. I have yet to try the Oakmoss & Sage kokum butter puck, but it smells promising…
